After a long joint conversation, the President of Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie Kryspin Baran and coach Mark Lebedew mutually decided that from February 14 the Australian is no longer the coach of Jurassic Knights. His current assistant Dominik Kwapisiewicz will take over his duties.
– Today, like often in the last weeks, I met with the president to discuss a way forward for the team and, most importantly, for the club. Together we came to the conclusion that this is the best way forward for the club. I have many incredible memories from the time in Zawiercie and I continue to have only the greatest respect for the president and his work. I will remain a fan of the club and wish everyone the best for playoffs and beyond – said Mark Lebedew.
– We would like to thank coach Lebedew for what he did for our club. We tried to do everything before this season to ensure that the team would be able to continue performin at the high level from the previous season. Unfortunately, the situation forced us to look for difficult solutions and together with the coach we grudgingly make this decision in order to improve the team’s game. We still consider Mark Lebedew as one of the best specialists in his job and he proved it last season when the effects of his work gave us all a lot of joy. We wish him all the best in his career – said President Kryspin Baran.
From February 14, Dominik Kwapisiewicz takes over the duties of the first coach of Aluron Virtu CMC Zawiercie team.
